Homelessness and a lack of affordable housing are among the most pressing issues in our community. There is substantial continued demand for research around housing from the community, and on our Campus. The University has a key role to play in informing practical, evidence-based approaches to addressing these complex issues.
Housing Research Group is a newly formed community-university collaboration, working to facilitate solutions to housing and homelessness across the North State.
This research will be improved by more involvement among the Chico State Community, and a greater diversity of perspectives and expertise.
We are seeking faculty, staff and students interested in conducting community-based participatory research around housing and homelessness.
Research may be conducted as part of an existing course, masters projects/thesis, development of a new, interdisciplinary course and/or as independent faculty research.
We welcome new researchers and projects.
Take a look around our site and let us know how you would like to get involved!
